As the Headteacher of this forward-thinking, nurturing therapeutic secondary school, I feel truly privileged.

We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of the children in our care. Our goal is to give them the best start to their educational journey, fostering a lifelong love of learning, preparing them for independence, and the next stages of their lives.

Our inspirational, talented, and compassionate staff are committed to every child’s success. By working closely with parents and carers, we ensure that pupils are happy and achieving success in all areas of school life within a nurturing and supportive network of staff and friendships.

Our focus is for every child, their family, and carers to look back on their time at Northcroft with a sense of achievement, purpose, kindness, personal discovery, and as a stepping stone in building and maintaining friendships and resilience.

Many of our pupils have faced difficult and challenging starts to their education, so it is crucial that we, as a school, understand, are flexible, and compassionate with every child we work with. I can genuinely say that we have a happy, warm, and nurturing school where our pupils feel safe, happy, and fully engaged in their educational experiences.
